    Health Coaching

    Over the course of the coaching programme, we work together to improve many aspects of your wellbeing with achievable lifestyle changes; one step at a time. These can include a range of health aspects such as:

    healthy diet
    gut health and digestion
    body strength & fitness
    posture, balance & joint mobility
    stress management
    sleep quality
    hormone health (including menopause)
    weight management
    blood sugar regulation
    mental & emotional health
    self confidence & esteem

    Health Coaching programmes start with an initial 1 hour consultation for a full health and lifestyle review. From there, I normally recommend 1-6 months of weekly or fortnightly 30 minute coaching support to help you implement the changes needed to achieve your health goals.

    Prices start from £83.00 for the initial consultation which includes an outline of the proposed coaching plan confirmed by email.

    Individual coaching sessions are available to anyone in the UK with consultations held online using Zoom, FaceTime or WhatsApp.

  • Reflexology

    Reflexology

    Reflexology is a deeply relaxing treatment which helps reduce the impact of stress. Given that so many health conditions are stress related, this can have many positive effects on the body, both physically and mentally.

    I am fully qualified in foot reflexology as well as Dien Chan Zone facial reflexology (based on Vietnamese acupressure principles). I am also qualified in Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD); a specialist technique used to support primary lymphoedema or secondary caused by surgery - e.g. mastectomy. Because of the way RLD works with lymphatic flow, it can also support those with inflammatory or auto-immune disorders. 

    Depending on your requirements, I may use a combination of reflexology methods for your treatments along with meditation and / or flower essences. It may also prove beneficial to combine them with aspects of health coaching or postural stability training.

    Whilst reflexology can be used for general wellbeing alone, it can also be used alongside most forms of medical treatment. It can also be used during fertility or supported conception methods (such as IVF or ICSI) or during natural life changes such as:

    preparing to conceive
    pregnancy and post birth
    pre and post menopause

    Prices for reflexology start at £48.00 for a 1 hour 15 minute treatment which includes wellbeing and aftercare advice. I currently hold clinics in the Derbyshire Dales area.

  • Postural Stability Training

    Postural Stability Training

    As a qualified Postural Stability Instructor (PSI), I teach structured exercise programmes to improve fitness, posture, mobility, body strength and stability.

    I currently teach classes in group settings around the Derbyshire Dales and Buxton area as part of the Age UK Derby & Derbyshire Live Stronger for Longer and Strong and Steady programmes. Sessions are mainly for those aged 50 plus who are at risk of having a fall, or have had a fall, due to their instability or reduced body strength. Classes also work well for those who are regaining strength after post operative physiotherapy.

    Exercise sessions can be performed seated or standing and focus on the following key aspects:

    Strength Exercises help build muscle strength in the legs, arms and central core using a combination of body weight, leg weights and resistance bands.

    Balance Exercises are initially performed stationary, progressing to moving as confidence and strength grows.

    Cardiovascular Fitness Exercises gradually increase the heart rate and breathing to improve general fitness . 

    Flexibility exercises are a range of seated stretches to initially warm up the muscles prior to exercise but also to improve range of movement and flexibility.
